Since we deal with highly sensitive IP, we need the ability to prevent users from triggering a screenshot and then pasting that screenshot on external systems.
Hello Rigo, this is an interesting point. Do you think that this should be solved within Tulip, or solved at the operating system level? Ie would it be sufficient to just implement a control that prevents all screenshots on that device?
Hi Kevin - thanks for the quick response. We would like this at the device level, as Tulip is a device agnostic platform, but anything we can put in place to prevent screenshots to help deter this activity would help. We know there are work arounds and savvy users will find a way around, but the more measures we put in place the more difficult we make it to help prevent these kind of activities.
Gotcha. So, if you are using Windows for example, would it be possible to do it for the entire device like so? https://www.ninjaone.com/blog/disable-screen-capture-and-record-with-snipping-tool-windows-11/
Yes, that could be possible solution that I can investigate with our internal teams. Our concern lies more with iOS devices as that is how we have deployed Tulip here and need to find a solution to not allow screenshots or the ability to copy paste any text shown within any of our applications that have been deployed within our Tulip instance.
