Fix Chrome Disconnecting Unused Tulip Tabs

This always bugged the cr*p out of me and I finally figured out how to fix it.

Chrome has a feature that disables the connection of inactive tabs. This causes a red bar at the bottom of your Tulip page when you come back to the tab. And it takes Tulip a second to reconnect. I have even noticed that certain pages like Connector Function and Analytic Builder will get totally bonked by this. It can be very frustrating when you are trying to bounce between many tabs at once (often for me).

Turns out, it’s super easy to prevent this. In Chrome settings → Performance:

I haven’t tested how Chrome parses prefixed URLs, but at least the latter one is working.

Happy Tulip-ing
