I’m creating a POC this weekend and won’t have feedback from the users until Monday.
As I’m creating variations on triggers to demonstrate some different ways the app can react to user inputs (barcode scans), it occurred to me it would be rather efficient to be able to group triggers (for widget, step, app) and then be able to copy/paste and disable/enable groups of triggers at once in addition to the current functionality.
hey @jmlowden!
love the idea, copy pasting a group of triggers would be a big efficiency win, thanks for writing this out. there’s a basic app building need for better trigger copy/pasting tools.
thanks,
Max
I’m using a lot of on step enter / exit triggers to configure equipment, reflect status, enable hardware, etc. In addition to managing these repeating triggers in the current step-by-step layout, it could be helpful to:
per trigger (or trigger group), see a list of all steps to quicly know on which step that trigger occurs, and enable and disable from that list
easily add that trigger to other steps in that list format
compare similar triggers / groups
get AI assitance on consolidating and/or optimizing trigger structure
