In Tulip I can view where a given variable is used from the variable list as shown below.
Is there an easy way to do the opposite. Ie: view what variables, triggers and place holders are used in a given step.

This a great idea, and something we are actively trying to figure out the best way to implement. This feature specifically is on hold right now behind a few other needs in the app editor, but it is absolutely something our product teams have on their radar.
