Regarding September maintenance activities:
- Several backend components require a replacement of the underlying docker image, including a restart of the component. We expect a brief interruption of individual Tulip services.
- Message broker needs to reload its configuration, including restarting the backend component, which requires brief downtime.
- The Kubernetes nodepool “database” requires a configuration update, including replacing the existing server.
- IAM roles used for Kubernetes require a minor change. No disruptions of services are expected.
- Kubernetes nodes for Traefik will be replaced with servers based on ARM processors. The node replacements will not impact Tulip customer instances but will require a short downtime to roll out.
