These are the product updates in release 213 of the Tulip platform.
Release 213 will be available for some customers on 08/30/2021 and will be live to all production customers the following week.
Tulip API Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Trailing whitespace is trimmed when creating table record IDs
- Queries endpoint supports “updatedAt” and “createdAt” filters
- The “runAggregation” endpoint can use “updatedAt” and “createdAt” filters in the Tables API
- The machine archive POST endpoint has been fixed
Machine Monitoring Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Image upload for machine data sources has been fixed
- Re-adding machine activity fields that have been removed does not result in an error
- Bug allowing file types in machine activity fields has been removed
- Connector Host maintains a connection to OPC UA server when a single request times out
- Editing restored machine type triggers does not modify the published version
- Updating machine types does not fail without reason
- Editing state is consistent when switching tabs on the machine page
- View and edit machine type modes have similar spacing on the screen
More Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Dashboard analyses only run when visible
- “View table charts” wording has been updated to “View table analyses”
- Expression errors show as expressions are edited
- Dragging and dropping apps and app groups to the root level has been fixed
- Invalid variable values will not prevent completions from being recorded
- 17 new actions will appear in the recent activity feed
- If no company logo has been set, a broken image does not appear
- CSV imports to Tulip Tables create audit log entries
- The “createdAt” and “updatedAt” columns can be used in filters with Table Queries
- Ellipses for long aggregation names added to prevent content from being cut off
- Station Operator, App Approver, and App Builder roles have been added
- Number input widgets have consistent behavior with separators across different languages
Tulip Player 1.2.2 updates:
- Added a Vision-based barcode detector in Player
- In Vision, Snapshots can capture regions with the “Take snapshot for regions” device function
- Onscreen touch keyboards always open with Windows touch devices
- Content occlusion handling has been improved when the onscreen touch keyboard is open
