On r274 “Viewer (with player)” role had this change.
https://support.tulip.co/docs/factory-274-release-march-2024
Users with the Viewer (with player) role can no longer re-assign existing stations to new display devices;
I guess this is due to security reasons, but it would be easier for us if they could still re-assign the existing stations to new Interfaces only if the last user on that existing Station was the user who is trying to re-assign.
Could you let us create a Custom User Role to do that?
(I do not want them to have Station Supervisor role, because that role can do too many things.)
Hello Aoki-san, thank you for mentioning this. You are correct with the security reasons point. Could you share a little more about your intentions here ie when this becomes a problem?

Users have to occasionally “hard reset” their Player, and majority of them were “Viewer with Player Access” in my environment.
How to Restart the Tulip Player if the Screen Goes Blank
Previously, we asked them selves to just choose the existing Station they were using.
Now, Station Supervisors have to manage that, which is time consuming.
Hi @ta-aoki,
I’m curious to understand why users would need to “hard reset” their players. Are you running into the blank screen issue or is it something else?
Sincerely,
Jake
For that, I am already contacting Tulip support.
