What can "Station Operator" and several other roles do?

It is hard for me to understand this article.

1. The category of the role “Station Operators” is both “Viewer” and “Operator” .
   How can a role be both “cannot run them through the Player” and “can only access the Tulip Player” ?

2. I see “Viewer (with Player Access)”, “Station Operators” and “Application Approvers” included in a category “Viewer“, and the description says “cannot run them through the Player”.
   However, when I export the role, these three role should be able to run Apps.

Hello Aoki-san, I will take a look at this article right now. In the meantime, are you able to view the Roles page in the platform? This is the source of truth for the capabilities of each role.

We use the Station Operator role as our “business admin” permission level - allows configuration of stations and interfaces/display-devices for any user, but also allows the user to run apps in Player.
