In addition to feature request Ability to apply ad-hoc filters and sorting without the need to create a query or app first, add ability to also export this result.
At present, the export function seems to be an all-or-nothing call.

you can use the interactive table widget in an App to download the result of a table query the same way you can export an (optionally filtered) table.
Outside of Apps, this is currently not possible. Given some more general changes we’re planning for this area of the platform, which will improve this experience as well, we’ll not add functionality to the existing approach at this point. But we’ll make sure to consider your feedback for the new plans.
