Maintenance Event - July 2024

As part of Tulip’s new policy for maintenance events , we plan to post announcements in advance to Community.

What work is being performed?

There are two separate efforts occurring in July that impact certain regions:

  • Tulip must update certain hosted services to be compatible with a renewed root certificate authority.
  • Tulip must perform a third-pary database version upgrade.

Who is impacted?

The certificate renewal will impact customers hosted in Europe with the Garden identifier prefix eu-3*.

The database version upgrade will impact customers hosted in the United States with the Garden identifier prefix us-14*.

What is the impact of the work?

Cert Renewal: This maintenance is defined as medium-level impact. Instances are expected to experience a loss of service for less than 10 minutes while the work is being performed.

Database Version Upgrade: This maintenance is defined as high-level impact with expected loss of service exceeding 10 minutes within the window.

When is the maintenance happening?

Cert Renewal: 20-Jul-2024 10:00 PM CEST → 21-Jul-2024 02:00 AM CEST

Database Version Upgrade: 27-Jul-2024 10:00 PM EST → 28-Jul-2024 02:00 AM EST

As a reminder, the maintenance event for us-14* instances is scheduled to begin at the start of the maintenance window on Saturday, July 27th at 10 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Tulip will notify users once the work has been completed and the platform’s operability has been restored.

To provide an update, the routine maintenance has concluded. Full operation has been restored to instances in us-14*.
