I noticed the other week that you can specify a User List variable type.
Assuming users can be added to this array, can this variable be used directly to send email/SMS to the whole distribution list, or must one loop through the array to email/SMS each recipient in turn?
Hi Jim, we do not have a formal “User Groups” feature yet as you are describing, but we know it is badly needed. My team is planning on building a solution for this in 2024. That would be the intended solution. Do you have other use cases in mind for it? If so, would be happy to talk further and learn more.
Same for me. I have several users I want to send emails to but it varies based on their assigned role. Can the email list be a table query that reads from the user table? If so, could you post a expression code for a trigger?
Hi Mike, yes, we plan on solving this with User Groups, which will be available for “Professional” plans and above. Look out for this feature later in the year!
