A new favorite trick of mine when developing my loop action triggers for step looping: if I want to save an original trigger and work on changes in a copy, is to actually copy the trigger and change the drop down selection from “step is opened” to “device”.
Why? Because even inactive triggers count toward the queue limits for consecutive triggers, and leaving it under “On step enter” would reduce the number of iterations possible (without resuming the loop via button or timer).
